Paris, March 23, 2022
Driven by the search for creativity and excellence, the DS Automobiles teams launched a call for creation in 2021 from the best French craftsmen, in partnership with Studio Métiers Rares.
Selected by a jury made up of DS Automobiles teams and influential personalities in the fields of art and creation, three finalists (Anne Lopez – creator of universes, Dimitri Hlinka and Nicolas Pinon, Jean-Baptiste Saint-Criq, Cercus marquetry) were invited to create a DS 9 door panel decoration. The jury then designated Anne Lopez as winner of the first DS x MÉTIERS D'ART competition, to whom DS Automobiles entrusted a dedicated budget for the creation of the interior trim of a unique DS 9 (named DS 9 MÉTIERS D'ART).

Creator of universes, Anne Lopez relies on artisanal techniques to create out-of-frame settings. She is particularly inspired by movement and the effect of the wind blowing on nature. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts of Paris and the Mural Art School of Versailles, she has already seen her work exhibited in Europe, America and Asia and she became the first winner of DS x MÉTIERS D’ART.
