For a unique and clear view of the road
The Extended Head-up Display represents a first step towards augmented reality. Projected through the windscreen, digital information seems to appear directly on the road so you never have to take your eyes off it.

The controls are listening
DS IRIS SYSTEM is our new intuitive and reactive voice recognition system. A true personal assistant that can understand what you say to it, so the system does what you want, when you want.
DS SMART TOUCH
Your shortcuts at your fingertips
Initiate any of the system’s main functions with a simple movement, without browsing or taking your eyes off the road, thanks to DS SMART TOUCH. Ideally situated within reach of your hand, a touchscreen reacts to your movements and recognises gestures such as zooming in, zooming out and even writing.

DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0
A new generation of driving
DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0 enriches the autonomous driving experience by including semi-automatic lane changing and adjusting your speed for corners and according to road signs. With its sensors, Lidar radar at the front, radar at the car’s corners, a camera at the top of the windscreen and artificial intelligence, it analyses the road and simultaneously positions the car according to its surroundings.
DS MATRIX LED VISION
A high technology light signature
Our latest generation, thinner and more modern DS MATRIX LED VISION headlamps bring Matrix Beam and Dynamic Bending Light (dynamic lighting for corners) to DS 4. Their beams read your surroundings exactly and adapt themselves for driving on main beam without dazzling other road users.

DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION
Predicting the road
Helped by a camera located at the top of the windscreen, four sensors and three accelerometers, DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION acts instantly and independently on each wheel, making fine adjustments to how firm or soft the suspension is depending on how uneven the road surface is.
DS NIGHT VISION
See what can’t be seen in the dark
An infrared camera in the grille of DS 4 detects pedestrians and animals up to 200 metres away and displays them in the digital instrument panel enabling you to anticipate danger and react calmly. A real safety benefit ensuring you have a restful drive, even in complete darkness.
E-TENSE
A new generation of mobility
For DS 4, our engineers came up with a much more efficient platform, in the name of design and performance. Designed to take our latest generation E-TENSE plug-in hybrid power unit combining a 180hp petrol engine and a 110hp electric motor, from 2021 it will enable incredible performance and driving flexibility: up to 50km electric-only range on the WLTP combined cycle, without compromising its usability or boot capacity.
