DS WORLD PARIS: SWAROVSKI SIDE BY SIDE WITH DIVINE DS

DS WORLD PARIS: SWAROVSKI SIDE BY SIDE WITH DIVINE DS

After hosting the Harcourt studio several months ago, the DS WORLD PARIS is moving into the world of fashion by welcoming Swarovski. With the new residency, visitors will be able to get a close-up look at the Divine DS concept car, a model sublimated by Swarovski’s world-renowned crystals. Swarovski’s Spring-Summer 2015 jewellery collection will also be on show.

Divine DS, a high-tech concept car radiant with light

Unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, DIVINE DS concept car is a concentrate of the Brand’s DNA and future. A styling manifesto designed and created in Paris, it combines refinement and technology, standing apart with its compact, powerful and elegant four-door body underscored by strong graphic signatures. The all-new interior features bold shapes and styling. A resolutely technological object, DIVINE DS is equipped with Laser headlights, facets on the rear window that open up to improve aerodynamics, an onboard camera for enhanced rear visibility and a cockpit with an array of digital features.

The cabin is dominated by quilted black leather studded with crystals. All these interiors are on show at the DS PARIS.

The creations of Nathalie Colin : a Spring/Summer 2015 collection in tune with the times

The new residency will also include an exhibition of Swarovski’s Spring-Summer 2015 jewellery collection inspired by a dreamlike garden. “Nature has always held special importance for Swarovksi,” says artistic director Nathalie Colin.

“The Crystal Garden collection reaffirms our thirst for modernity, expressed in the stylised fauna, flora and insects and their flowing and feminine lines and patterns.” The collection is fully in tune with the times, distinguished by the glamorous and sparkling touches for which the Swarovski company is known.

A DKNY dress will be on show alongside this collection, created as part of the Little Black Dress charity auction to raise money for the fight against cancer organised in New York. The unique dress was created by Donna Karan, with 20 designers called on to stitch the 2,600 Swarovski crystals. The consummately elegant creation will be on exclusive show for all fashionistas to admire in the window displays of the Ds World Paris throughout the residency.
